Upon purchase of HATCH Computer Learning Centers, each organization will be provided with the
following training and services:
Initial Installation: This initial introduction will help you successfully
integrate your NEW Computer Learning Center into the early childhood classroom. Staff Development Training: Staff at each center will be trained on how to
integrate technology into an early childhood environment. This initial training is
designed to acclimate staff members to the use of computers and, to ensure the
successful implementation of a Computer Learning Center in an early childhood classroom.
In addition to the initial training, HATCH will provide follow-up training to guarantee
successful integration. Each organization may request any of the following additional
training:
- New Teacher Training This
training will follow the HATCH initial training model of acclimation and
ensuring proper classroom implementation. This training is typically one-on-one.
- Continuation Training designed as a follow-up to the first training, it
typically consists of questions and answers that may lead into more
in-depth training.
- Group Training Workshops please refer to the list of workshop topics that are provided by HATCH.
- Drop-in Training and Support trained HATCH service professionals
located throughout the country are available to visit your site to provide
service or training, if needed, on any aspect of the Computer Learning Center.
Lifetime Toll-Free Technical Support: HATCH will provide a one call does
it all approach to supporting staff via telephone support. HATCH will support the
following via telephone Technical Support:
- HATCH Hardware any component of the Computer Learning Center placed into
the classroom by HATCH.
- HATCH Software any application software program installed on the computer by HATCH.
Warranty: A two-year warranty on all parts and labor If any component,
hardware and/or software, of your Computer Learning Center should fail within the
first 90 days of installation, HATCH will replace the component within 24 hours.
After 90 days, if any component should fail, HATCH will repair the component within
5 business days. At the end of the two-year period the consumer will be charged for components
that are needed to repair the Computer Learning Center. A $75.00 minimum charge
in addition to the price of the components needed for the repair, will apply.
